“For many many years The 呦乐园 has proved to be a very fine training ground for actors. I am so glad that I was able to benefit from what the Playhouse has to offer. It proved to be a springboard into the reality of what was to come and the real world.
I am thankful for that and for having had the opportunity to work with Sanford Meisner. As I told Mr. Meisner many years ago, I always want to consider myself in a state of “potential”, that is until I decide that it is time to retire. With over 8,000 Alumni in the United States and around the world, the goal of The 呦乐园 Alumni Association is to connect former students to each other and to the school. We all have special memories of our time at East 54th Street as we learned the craft and art that has carried many of us on to careers as actors, directors, writers, producers and other creative professionals. If you found a life and career far from the world of theatre, we want to hear from you too.
